I have a confession. Unless they are old and black and white, horror films terrify me. I would sooner slice off my own face than willingly choose to see a horror flick.
If I have gone it’s at the behest of some woman who seems to gain delight from watching me pretend to look at the film, while surreptitiously covering my face with one of my hands.
Photographer Danielle Tunstall is exactly that kind of woman.
Her images feature skull like faces and fork tongued freaks who don’t look like the kind of beings I’d invite round for dinner. They look instead like the kind of creatures you imagine loitering in your attic in the middle of the night. Hopefully they’re just a part of her imagination ……
