There have been some wonderful animal portraits taken over the last few years by the likes of Tim Flach and Morten Koldby.

Animals have been given the attention normally afforded to humans so that we see their unique personalities shine through. Czech photographer Lukas Holas is the latest to try his hand at the genre with a series of beautifully lit black and white images entitled simply ‘Portraits of Animals’.
