Lartigue in Color

Jacques Henri Lartigue was a fortunate man, wealthy and alive at the time that photography started to become an art form, he started taking pictures in childhood and continued into old age. Better known for his black and white work, recently his color work has been collected in the book ‘Lartigue: Life in Color.’ The work spans the autochromes of his youth along with later work using color film. All display a painterly eye that captures the life of the rich in the 20th century.
